December was packed full of family fun. We did a lot this year for Christmas with both sides of the family. I just love family time. There are several pictures of what we did this Christmas below. This month we went to Temple Square, Salem Pond-to see more lights, went caroling, went to Christmas parties, played Christmas BINGO (an all time favorite), ate food, went to the cabin, went tubing and sledding, ate even more food, saw movies-The Princess and the Frog is really cute, and ate even more food. I think that is one of the main things I did this whole December-EAT, and EAT, and EAT. I guess that explains the 5 pound weight gain. December was a blast. Enjoy-sorry the pictures are out of order.

Christmas day outfit

Grandma and Grandpa gave Alyssa a "Darbie"-(that's how Alyssa says it)
with a blue barbie car. This was a huge hit. She played with it for hours!

Alyssa's favorite Christmas present was the chapstick in her stocking. She is obsessed with chapstick. That's all Santa should have brought her. She would have been completely happy and it Christmas would have only cost $ 0.99.

The first thing that Alyssa said when she opened this present is, "This blanket is too soft!" How can a blanket be too soft? She is in love with this blanket now and carries it everywhere.

Alyssa was excited to get a "workout" outfit so she can go running with mom and dad.

This is a picture of Alyssa right when she woke up Christmas morning.
She was so excited to see what Santa brought her, she could hardly stand it.

These 2 pictures are of the kids wearing their Christmas pajamas on Christmas eve.

My cute sisters playing some Christmas BINGO!

Alyssa's ready to get her BINGO on!
Christmas BINGO is a family tradition on my (Natalie's) side of the family.
Thanks mom and dad for this awesome family tradition!

Alyssa and G-Ma Shelly

Alyssa has been begging us to do a gingerbread us for a while now. So we bought this kit and decided to try it. Here is our finished product. It isn't perfect, but it was fun. Alyssa enjoyed shoving the candy in her mouth as much as she did putting the candy on the house. I learned a valuable lesson from this experience: Don't try to be a perfectionist. No matter how hard you try, it's just not going to look the way you really want it to look.
I also learned that I really don't have any patience. How do I go about getting some?
Christmas Party

I can't wait for 2010!
